In Utah, health and fitness has been an ongoing issue among a concentrated population of Urban Islanders including: Heart disease, Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, and Gout to name a few. The community is being faced with ailments that are caused by poor diets and lack of physical activity.

A group of Poynesian Housewives were eager to bring some change in eating habits and develop healthier lifestyles. Their first attempt in this effort is joining the world re-known fitness program called Zumba! Sinai Pauni, Founder of EMZ (Early Morning Zumba), began taking a couple of classes to getting certified as an instructor! She created a morning fitness program geared towards an all Urban Island women demograhic to raise awareness around positive health habits, transform them to be physically healthy and celebrate success!

Host Lu’isa Ha’ungatau, also known as “IsaGirl”, visited Utah to get in her own little EMZ with the ladies! Check out how our girl gets the unexpected suprise of a gym full of devoted Zumba fanatics who are ready to show the WhatitDo that the ladies of EMZ can get down on some Zumba! Watch our host, IsaGirl bust a few Zumba moves and believe us, you don’t want to miss this!

Want to know what it takes to be C.E.O (Crazy, Extreme, Obsessive) in the sports business and entertainment industry?!

Andres Sinohuiz Jr., creator of BoneHead TV along with his partner Aumauinuuese Sioeli Puni are off to an incredible start in their venture to combine the extreme, personal, and entertainment sides of the entire MMA, VERT and STREET styles.

Puni said, “We are very excited to have teamed up with John Pena of JP Productions and Playboy model Kathy Brown to showcase BoneHead TV’s soft launch at the Respect In The Cage (RITC) fight event,” which was held on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the Pomona Fox Theater in Pomona, California. The event was celebrated at the after party at Vive Lounge where fans got to party and rumble on the dance floor.

If you’ve never been to a Respect In The Cage event, it is definitely a must-attend event because you will experience a new twist of extreme sports coupled with a nightlife heartbeat that you have never seen or felt before! JP Productions and their Respect In The Cage event set themselves apart from the other MMA/UFC fight competitions as their DJ Nate Johns rocks the beats and the go-go dancers captivate the audience in between the fights. As many sources have stated, it is undoubtedly the best fight show in Southern California.

Vive Lounge

George Sanchez, who beat Ed Hoffman adds, “The great atmosphere and fans are amazing not to mention the music and go-go’s.” When asked how he prepared for his fight, Sanchez stated, “Physically for this fight it was just working on technique that is taught every day at Millennia MMA. Mentally, I just had to stay relaxed and remember to breathe. My coach Betiss Mansouri made sure to keep reminding me. It was a great night overall. I took what he gave me and got a first round submission.”

Sanchez’s teammate Danny Navarro also won that evening by unanimous decision, ousting Matt Bahntge, and Maxwell Ceniceros dominated Kevin Michel.

In the main event, the high-octane five minutes, five rounds title fight of champion Christos Ciagos versus challenger Joe Camacho was nothing short of pure adrenaline as Ciagos dominated to maintain his title!

Be sure to join the C.E.O. journey and stay tuned for BoneHead TV’s full coverage of the event where you will see first-hand interviews with current and legendary UFC/MMA fighters such as Gilbert Ives and Don “Predator” Frye, as well as highlights from all the exciting fights that took place that evening.

Over the weekend, talented actor, singer, stand-up comedian, and all-around stand up guy Jamie Foxx threw his Annual Summer Basketball Jam, at his home in West Lake Village, CA, which was sponsored by Under Armour and Fat Burger. The event was to benefit the Jamie Foxx Foundation and Pacific Lodge Youth Services which provides support and a therapeutic residential environment for adolescent boys in the juvenile justice system.

Over fifty active and retired NBA players were present to support the cause. Getting back on the court for the games were retired players Byron “B. Russ” Russell and Cedric Ceballos. Also jumping on the court for the cause were NBA players Matt Barnes, Kembo Walker, Rasual Butler, Trevor Ariza, and rookie Jrue Holliday just to name a few.

Known for their entertainment sports leagues in Hollywood, trio Christian Holden, Suzanne Summerville, and Darius Farrelly teamed up with Foxx and his PR & marketing team to produce the basketball tournaments for the day.

Aside from the popular players in the games, some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment were involved throughout the fun-filled day such as Denzel Washington, Will Smith, Derek Fisher, Kenyon Martin, Baron Davis, Jalen Rose, Gary Payton, Lamond Murray, Juaquin Hawkins, Tyrese, Snoop Dogg, Barry Bonds, Shemar Moore, Duane Martin, Robert Horry, Pooh Richardson, Eva Marcel, Teyana Taylor, Chanta Patton, and many others.

Playing an integral role in bringing out some of Hollywood’s finest to the event were The DB’s: Dave Brown and Deral Boykins. Thirteen years strong, The DB’s have been a preferred provider of Hollywood’s nightlight and entertainment. Broadcasting live from the tournament was Foxx Hole Radio, which provided play-by-play coverage throughout the day.

The event was a success in raising close to $500,000 from sponsors, players, and private donors for the charity foundations. Congratulations to Foxx and all his teams for putting on an electrifying event.

On February 12-13, 2011, thousands of spectators will watch some of the best rugby players on the planet compete at the 2011 USA Rugby Sevens in Las Vegas, the fourth event in this year’s HSBC Sevens World Series. Aside from the sixteen international teams competing in The HSBC World Sevens Series, the national Tonga team, one of the ‘O for awesome’ teams in the world, will not be present, but this does not stop Tonga’s rugby fans from attending the tournament.

“IRB invited other teams besides Tonga, “ said Vahafolau Esikia, a 30 year-old former national USA Eagles rugby player with 21 years of rucking rugby experience, a San Francisco Bay Area native, and leader of the Go Tonga Go Campaign, petitions on behalf of a collection of signatures to stir up a fan base support for Tonga’s national rugby team 2012 USA Rugby Sevens invitation. Over 5,000 signatures will be targeted from rugby fans and supporters of a Tongan national Seven’s team invitation.

Sponsored by Bula Beverage, Esikia will be at the Go Tonga Go Campaign booth from 2:30 to 4:00pm at this weekend’s tournament along with supporters, Sione Po’uha of the New York Jets, and Deuce Lutui of the Arizona Cardinals. “A few other NFL guys will stop by too,” Esikia added.
