The Inaugural Season: American Pro Rugby

As the Warriors franchise chases another Championship title in what is becoming the most watched sport in America, another seed is being planted in our garden of professional athletics. Rugby surfaces as one of the most gritty sports competitions in many countries around the world particularly in our respective ‘mega-nesian’ islands, New Zealand and Australia. As America embeds itself in the bloody activity of no-helmets and no-pads tackling, it upgrades rugby onto a new platform of high-quality and high-performance.

This weekend is when the action comes alive as the pro-rugby teams will be debuting their talent and team camaraderie on the field. Four out of the five teams will be competing against each other this Sunday, April 17th. The San Francisco team will travel to Sacramento for a Northern California battle while the Ohio pro-rugby team will be heading west to play on Denver’s home ground.

We are excited to watch the historic launch of what will sure become mainstream entertainment in the near future. Good luck to our Polynesian men who will be participating in this weekend’s games!
