Beaches To Buildings: Rapper Green On ‘6 God’ Track

With the recent explosion of his debut album If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late (I mean the entire album currently dominates the Billboard charts), Drake has targeted another portion of his global audience- the up and coming lyrical geniuses. Not only has the Toronto native been able to create his own eclectic sound, but Drake gives young prodigies the opportunity to sample the same beat using their own personalized bars.

Orange County native, Green, takes a stab at the dark melodious track, ‘6 God’ and killllss it.  Seriously, his video was like a three minute highlight reel of how much talent he has and how naturally his flows flow mo’ betta than a lot of these other Urban Island artists, reggae or not. Green has begun to rip the seams that divide two distinct genres of music. His wordy inflections merges effortlessly with his LA-inspired sound, a lethal mix of great music. His verses on #TokoUso and #TeamPoly and what that looks like nowadays is so real, yet his graceful presence in front of a camera let’s listeners know that it’s all love after the last beat of this banger.

We expect fire hitters from Green in the near future and best believe when it hits, BE READY!
