The highly anticipated game of USC vs. UCLA is finally upon us, and everyone in Southern California has been gearing up to watch. The long-standing rivalry between the two schools will once again go head to head, with the positioning within the PAC-12 south on the line. The two teams are both South Division title hopefuls, and are also apart of a four-team group at the top of the division with two losses.

USC has had their share of disappointments this season, losing to Boston College and Arizona State by just a few points, but still have a strong starting 22 that truly play like Trojans, fighting on ‘til the end. And though UCLA has had a two-game losing streak this October, they were able to rebound with four victories in a row.

Among the many players on both teams, we can see a few Poly’s battling it out on the field. From UCLA, Samoan player #35 Ainuu Taua, who is on the defensive line as well as linebacker #44 Isaako Savaiinaea, and Tongan player #71 Poasi Moala. From USC we have tons of Poly  men of Troy, including outside linebacker #58 JR Tavai, #9 Juju Smith, #31 Soma Vainuku, #60 Viane Talamaivao, and strong safety #21 Su’a Cravens.

The two teams have gone back and forth with each other regarding their victories and losses, so it will definitely be interesting to see how this game plays out. The game will take place this Saturday (tomorrow) 11/22 at 8pm at the Rose Bowl. To catch the game on television, tune in to ABC.  Who will you be rooting for?
