The beautiful Diamond Langi set out for Taiwan this week to crown the 2014 winner of the Miss Face of Beauty International contest. Langi, who was the winner for 2013, beat out 38 other contestants for the crown. Since her win, the 21 year old has done tremendous amount of charity work for many programs including ‘A Miracle for Tevita’, ‘iDefine Programe’, and the ‘Heart & Hand Ha’api Fundraiser’.  Now that Langi is stepping down, she will continue to raise funds for these programs, as well as help to teach young women to appreciate themselves and remind them that they are always beautiful.

With a large following on Instagram and many viewers always enjoying her ‘No-no’s of the Week’, we are excited to see what is in store for Langi in the future, as she already has projects underway with modeling and music. Langi is working hard to rise in the modeling world, as she has done quite some photo shoots in the United States, Tonga, and Australia. She also recently teamed up with Australian-Samoan singer Bea, and together created a song called “Secrets”, where Langi raps on, which is available on iTunes.

Miss Face of Beauty International had 38 contestants last year, but will instead be featuring 42 contestants this year. Among them are a few Polynesian hopefuls: contestants from Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, and Guam. We hope for the best for these girls, and hope to see another Polynesian become the Miss Face of Beauty International this year. The winner will be crowned this weekend.
