This Saturday November 1st, our USA Eagles takes on the world renown All Blacks of New Zealand in a competitive match of rugby. The Maori All Blacks beat the USA Eagles in an exciting clash last year. This year, our Eagles are out for playful revenge. The highly anticipated game has sold over 20,000 tickets to fans of all ages. With the Rookie Rugby program implemented in a number of Chicago schools, the Rugby in a Box initiative has strategically introduced the sport to its large target audience — the youth.

If you weren’t able to purchase a ticket, no worries. You can still experience rugby fever at the Rookie Rugby Festival in Chicago held this week prior to the Saturday matchup. Join thousands of fans as the novel sport is celebrated in the streets of Chicago with live music, food vendors and a flag version of rugby. The East Coast is well-prepared to host the game that will set the tone for the future of American rugby. Tune into NBC to watch the game and see what they do.
