With Halloween around the corner, its time for one of the darkest shows on television to return. We’ve lived and seen the nightmares of the Murder House, escaped the twisted secrets in the Asylum, and fought to protect the Coven. But tomorrow night we will finally see the Freak Show unfold for this highly anticipated season of American Horror Story.
What we know about this season so far is that it will be set in Florida during the 1950’s, around a German woman named Elsa (Jessica Lange), and her band of “freaks”, including Sarah Paulson as siamese twins Dot and Bette, as well as Kathy Bates as a bearded lady, who are all struggling to make money by showing off their oddities. Elsa’s freak show is one of the last remaining of their time, and she and her freaks will do anything to keep their business alive. While struggling to keep business alive, Elsa and her freaks must also deal with the “evil forces” who do not quite understand what they are. We’re sure to see tons of plot twists along the way.
Sadly, this will be our favorite leading lady Jessica Lange’s last season on the show, but we hope to see her go out with a bang. Many favorite AHS actors will also be returning, including the dreamy Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, and many more AHS alums. We will also see many new faces with real oddities, including the World’s Tiniest Woman, playing the some of the “freaks” on the show. With all the hype around this season, we all hope that Freak Show doesn’t disappoint.
Don’t miss the premiere tomorrow night, 10/8 at 10pm PST on FX!
