Alfonso Ribeiro Brought Us ’90s Flashbacks on ‘DWTS’

In case you missed it, Alfonso Ribeiro brought back some major nostalgia with his dance partner Witney Carson on Dancing With the Stars last night. You might know Ribeiro as Carlton Banks on the ‘90s hit show, the Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

Carlton was known for his nerdiness, as well as his very own dance move, “The Carlton”, that he often did on Fresh Prince to Tom Jones’ former hit song “It’s Not Unusual”. It was an unforgettable dance that the majority of us who grew up watching Fresh Prince would instantly recognize.

Ribeiro, who is without a doubt the guy to beat on this season of DWTS, along with ABC have been teasing fans for weeks about possibly bringing back the Carlton to television. He finally did it. This week, he and his partner were given the “Jazz” category, and they came full force with Ribeiro’s iconic move.
