Last month, four teenagers traveled from Oakland, California to Las Vegas for the USA Rugby 7’s event. These four teens, unfortunately, never made it back home after the tournaments ended. Malia Moa, 17, David Moa, 19, George Moa 19, and Rachel Fisi’iahi, 19, died when their car rolled multiple times while they were driving on SR58 in Kern County, California. This tragedy has left their families devastated, as well as leaving a huge hole in the hearts of their community and friends.
To remember Malia, David, George, and Rachel, a benefit concert will be held in their honor on Sunday, March 10th ,2013. The “Valu Fa Benefit Concert” will feature live Reggae, R&B, Hip-hop, and Funk acts and will be held at the Observatory (3503 S. Harbor Blvd, Santa Ana, California). The upbeat event will take place from 5:00pm until 1:00am the next morning and is open to all ages.
Please come out and help us show love and support to the Moa and Fisi’iahi families by enjoying good music and the company of good friends. Dress code will be casual attire. Admission is $15 presale and $20 at the door. Food and drinks will be sold at the event and there will be $5 raffles as well as prize giveaways. All proceeds will go to the families of the late teens.
