Its clever messages of urban island themes such as “PolyMovement” and “TokoUso” has spread like wild fire through out the west coast through music and pop culture. The shirts have spread worldwide spreading love and unity amongst pacific islanders. The birth of the “TokoUso” concept that has organically evolved into a unified movement amongst Tongans and Samoans.
The WhatItDo visitedwith LOA Clothing owner, Henry Kaufusi, in his workshop set up in the garage of his home. It’s inspiring to see Henry has followed his passion for art and to watch him transform it into a business. One shirt at a time, one stroke at time, he infuses passion behind the paint and that’s definitely WhatItDo!
