With the presidential elections right around the corner, The WhatItDo and BetelnutRadio.com felt it was important to get more urban islanders by promoting awareness to vote.
The WhatItDo and BetelnutRadio have joined forces and will be travelling the west coast region in a Rock The Vote Acoustic Series starting on October 18th. Understanding that each voice counts, the two media outlets will host a series of acoustic sessions featuring singer Josh “Wawa” White. It will be intimate nights of spoken word and music showing our support of the importance of voting.
The Rock The Vote Acoustic series will begin on thursday the 18th of October in Seattle, Washington at The Social. Doors will open at 8pm and pre-sale tickets are $20.00 and $25.00 at the door. It is a 21+ affair and dress code is come freshly dipped. The show will include representation of both political parties, spoken word artists, music spinning in the DJ Booth and a live unplugged show with urban island music artist Josh White.
The show will go on the road the next day and will head to the sister city of the wet coast to Vancouver,WA which is right across the bridge from Portland, OR. It will be held at Avenue Lounge on Friday October 19th where doors will open at 7pm. Pre-sale tickets are $15.00 and $20.00 at the door. This is a 21+ affair so come out and join us for a night of great urban island entertainment.
