One of the highlights of the Monterey Bay Reggae Festival was the debut performance of singer Josh “Wawa” White who was backed by De Tour Posse from Los Angeles. Wawa had the wonderful opportunity to perform the same day with urban island music artists SpawnBreezie, Gyptian and Capleton.

It was amazing to see the young music artist prepare for his performance. His humble attitude and demeanor has made him a fan favorite. When music sensation Gyptian heard him sing, he compared Wawa’s sound to Ali Campbell of UB40 but a younger version. Between Gyptian and Wawa, they were loved by the ladies.

Check out our media segment below and see how the Wawa fever spread through out the festival and that’s WhatItDo!
