Tahiti Fete Of San Jose marked its 20th Anniversary this year. Fans from all over the world gathered together to watch teams and solo competitions during 4th of July weekend at San Jose State University’s Event Center. It consisted of 4 days of intense back to back solo competitions, tahitian group competition and children competing to see who would come out on top.
Masses of urban islanders came out each day to check out the competition. One of the highlights of this year’s Tahiti Fete was the special guest of honor Hon. Virginia Rose Tuita of the Kingdom of Tonga. Having polynesian royalty at Tahiti Fete was the icing on the cake to celebrate 20 years tahitian dance competition.
