The urban island music movement has been gaining strong momentum in the past year as music artists like J Boog stand at the forefront breaking through with his feel good music sound nationwide. Endustry Entertainment hosted reggae music sensation Tarrus Riley and J Boog in Portland, OR earlier this month. The show was sold out, the atmosphere was electrifying and the WhatItDo street team was in the midst of it all.
Opening acts consisted of local groups in the Portland area such as Kalo Roots and 3RP Music. Bringing their own flavor and style to the stage, these local bands got the party started and the crowd ready for the headliners. Once Tarrus Riley and J Boog hit the stage, Portland’s anticipation to receive them was exciting and wild. Backed by Hawaii’s very own The Hot Rain Band accompanied by back up vocalists Kiwini Vaitai, Siaosi, and Laga Savea it was a show that the fans would remember. The biggest reggae show to hit Portland this year, Endustry Entertainment was ready to receive the masses as they packed the TA Event Center.
