The West coast was “Waiting For The Rain” as urban island sensation J-Boog hit the stage last weekend with his newest “Backyard Boogie” album tour. Concert goers got a special treat from Jamaica’s very own reggae legend, Tarrus Riley. It was a SOLD OUT crowd of over 1500 reggae fanatics packing the house at Portland’s T.A Event Center. Nothing but good vibrations filled the air as the opening act local artists, “Kalo Roots” featuring Aisea, was introduced to the stage. Local favorite, Portland’s hottest Tongan trio, 3RP, kept the momentum going by singing urban islander hit songs, “Kiss Ya” and “Ma’ili E Matangi,” giving a stellar high energy top performance.
Host IsaGirl catches up with the artists and promoters on the day of the show. Check it out!
